This beautiful park features two main walking trails. The lower trail loops around a small lake with a fountain while the upper loop is a beautiful tree lined walking path.

Ancient Poplar Tree
A 500+ year old poplar tree stands by the lake. A board walk surrounds its large hollow base. According to the information board this "Loving Tree" provided not only shelter to people but it was also used to hide possessions were hidden here like a cow and its calf to protect them during the Civil War.
